Community Engagement is an important part of our work. It allows local people to understand and engage with the work of Able Foundation.
Our Community Engagement initiatives include forming links with:

• Local cultural groups
• Local faith groups
• Local youth groups
• Employers
• Schools and colleges.

We continually seek ways to strengthen our links with our local communities. We are keen to hear from you if you (or a group you work with) would like to get involved in our work.

Employer Supported Volunteering
We work with a number of local employers, providing team building days for their staff. Recent Employer Supported Volunteering initiatives have included:

• Gardening projects
• Mural painting
• Supporting our car wash scheme.

The companies involved report that the activities we offer provide a perfect day out for their team. We are always looking for new, innovative partnerships with local organisations for one-off events or ongoing opportunities.
